
Sandy Howell is an accomplished songwriter, singer, and music producer with a long resume over years in Los Angeles and Orlando.
Howell has written and produced music for the Disney Channel, Fox, The Hallmark Channel, The Dr. Oz Show, Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions, Dic Entertainment, Focus on the Family, Insight for Living, and many more. She is also a long-time session singer whose voice has been heard internationally on TV, in film, on radio, and even night after night for nearly 10 years in Tokyo Disney’s Fantasmic! She is experienced in doing character voice singing as well, often recording and producing vocals for clients in her home studio (using Logic Pro). As for working with those who also have the music bug, Howell has directed choirs, taught piano and voice, and coached both kids and adults in the studio. Whether it’s producing songs for children’s programming or singing live on stage, Sandy’s years of experience and love of her craft always shine through in every note.

With the accompaniment of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Richard Sherman recorded Sandy at Capitol Records singing a stirringly beautiful song that he and his brother Robert had written during the days of Mary Poppins but had never recorded.
Sandy felt beyond honored when the legendary Quincy Jones awarded her song as the Grand Prize Winner of the Billboard Song Contest. The song first rose to the top selections as winner in the Pop category after being selected by David Foster & Carole Bayer Sager.
As both a songwriter for Sailor Moon and the singing voice of Sailor Mars, Sandy has enjoyed meeting fans who continue to celebrate this beloved cartoon which originated in Japan.
Sandy had fun singing "Crazy" at the Grammys in an all-female chorus behind winning duo Gnarls Barkley.
As the co-writer of the theme song for Strawberry Shortcake, Sandy also got to write and produce a series of TV commercials based on the theme, which she sang as well.
Performing at venues like Disney Hall and the Fillmore in San Francisco, Sandy was one of the “Sellouts” singing with Petra Haden, daughter of famed, late bassist Charlie Haden. In a special tribute to the iconic SAILOR MOON anime series, Sandy performed at the Aratani Theater in Los Angeles, with the SeraSymphony, the songs she wrote and sang for the show. The fans who attended were decked out in their best Sailor Moon attire.
Sandy was the songwriter for the Telly Award-Winning series "Ribbits" for Focus On The Family. She was also enlisted to sing as several of the characters, including one with a Carmen Miranda accent.
This was a special moment after Sandy recorded backgrounds for the legendary Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck.
For Paws & Tales, a Christian kids’ series, Sandy wrote/co-wrote and produced 76 fun-filled and dramatic message songs which continue to broadcast on radio stations worldwide in 2025.
